Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Beijing

Your flight lands at Beijing – the capital of China. You are transferred to the hotel for well-deserved rest and relaxation.
Day 2

Beijing

Morning program begins with Tian An Men Square, the largest city square in the world. Then proceed to the Forbidden City, the residence of emperors for more than 500 years, housing numerous precious art objects. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace to see the beautiful Kunming Lake. (B,L)
Day 3

Beijing

This morning start tours to the Badaling Great Wall, a symbol of the Chinese ancient civilization. The longest man-made object in the world, this 2,000-year landmark is an astonishing feat of engineering. En route visit a Jade carving factory followed by a photo-stop at the Bird Nest & Water Cube, both are the main Olympic Stadium for the 2008 Olympic Games. Day 4

Beijing

In the morning, visit the Temple of Heaven, the largest temple complexes in China and a paradigm of Chinese architectural balance and symbolism. After visit a Pearl factory, take a Hutong tour by rickshaw with a home visit to explore the real Beijing life style. (B,L)
Day 5

Beijing—Xian

Today fly to Xian. Upon arrival, meet and start tours to Provincial Museum where you can learn a lot about the 5,000 years brilliant history of China. Continuous to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is one of the best preserved Buddhist temples in China. (B,L)
Day 6

Xian

Today’s highlight is a visit to the Archaeological Museum with Cotta Warriors and Horses excavated from the tomb of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty. Then visit the Ceramics & Pottery Center. Tonight, enjoy a Dumpling Dinner & Tang Dynasty Show. (B,L,SD)
Day 7

Xian—Luoyang

Take a morning bullet train to Luoyang, is one of the oldest imperial capital cities in China with many impressive culture heritages which are dated back to the Song Dynasty. Upon arrival, meet and start the tour to Longmen Grottoes, a one of the four largest Buddhist cave complex in China. (B,L)
Day 8

Luoyang—Shaolin Temple—Zhengzhou

On the way driving to Zhengzhou, visit the birthplace of Chinese Kungfu, Shaolin Temple which is a famous martial arts monastery. You will enjoy a kung fu show at the theater to see different weapons demonstrated by Shaolin monks. (B,L)
Day 9

Zhengzhou—Kaifeng—Zhengzhou

Take a full day tour to Kaifeng where is famous in the world for its profound historical and cultural heritages. Firstly, visit the Millennium City Park to travel back to ancient China. And then visit the Dragon Pavilion, a temple for worshipping the emperor of the Qing Empire.  (B,L)
Day 10

Zhengzhou—Shanghai

Take a morning bullet train to Shanghai. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel to enjoy rest of the day at leisure. (B)
Day 11

Shanghai

Today, take a full day city tour to visit the Yu Garden, a place of peace and comfort in the heart of bustling Shanghai; the Bund, known as a miniature museum of international architecture with dozens of high buildings standing along the shore; Shanghai Museum, as one of the largest Museums in China; and Xintiandi & Pudong New Development Zone. Day 12

Shanghai—Suzhou—Shanghai

Today’s excursion is to the water town Suzhou. The city’s canals, stone bridges, pagodas and meticulously designed gardens have contributed to its status as one of the top tourist attraction in China. Tour to the Garden of Net Master,  the smallest but the most impressive classic garden in Suzhou. Cruise on the Grand Canal, shop at the Silk spinning factory and the Pingjiang Road Old Town Area. Day 13

Depart Shanghai

Transfer to airport and take your homebound flight to home. (B)
