Day 1

Arrive Taipei

Your flight lands at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport. You are transferred to the hotel for well-deserved rest and relaxation.
Day 2

Taipei—Sun Moon Lake

This morning, to be picked up at hotel lobby and then drive to Sun Moon Lake which is located in the middle of Taiwan and situated 762 meters above sea level in the lofty mountains of Central Taiwan. Tour will stop at the famous Wenwu Temple, also known as Literature-Warrior Temple, dedicated to Confucius as Master of Pen and Kuan Ti as Master of Sword, Holy Monk Shrine and Ci En Pagoda. After touring round Sun Moon Lake, check in hotel for rest or enjoy a natural hot spring at hotel. You can also enjoy the walking trails, biking, hiking or boating at the lake. (B)
Day 3

Sun Moon Lake—Kaohsiung

Check out the hotel, passing by the lovely small and old Jiji Railway Station, drive to Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastery, the most famous Buddhist sacred place of southern Taiwan. Here you will learn about Buddhism during the monastery walking tour to visit Buddha Memorial Center and communicate with some of the monks or nuns during the visit, there will be opportunity to taste Buddhist vegetarian lunch (at your own cost). Continuously, we will drive to Kaohsiung which is the second largest city of Taiwan. The tour will take you to Lover River and Liuhe Night Market. (B)
Day 4


Morning tour to Kenting National Park, located at Taiwan’s southern tip and the 37 miles of coral-rimmed shoreline along three sides of the park provide its main attractions. Stops will be made at Eluanbi lighthouse, Maobitou coastal scenic area and Longpan Park. Continuously we will drive to Taitung via Southern Link Highway. Rest of the day for you to enjoy a natural hotel spring at hotel. (B)
Day 5


After breakfast, it will be an exiting East Coast Tour. The East Coast National Scenic Area, known as “Taiwan’s last unspoiled land”, stretches 170 kilometers down the east coast of the island. Weathering, erosion and accumulation have Shitiping (Stone Steps), marble factory and showroom. Late afternoon, we will proceed to Hualien for overnight stay at Taroko National Park. (B)
Day 6


After breakfast, we will make a visit to Taroko National Park. Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful, narrow raving created by the Liwu river which has cut deep into the mountains of solid marble. A road carved into sheer walls of rock rewinding its way past forested peaks and cliffs towering thousands of feet above it, while hundreds of feel below a river roars past gigantic marble boulders. Passing by Tunnel of Nine Turns, Ci Mu Bridge, stops will be made at Swallow Grotto, and Changchun Temple (Eternal Spring Shrine). We will then drive back to Taipei with a stop at Cingshui Cliff, drive through Syue-Shan Long Tunnel to arrive at evening time. (B)
Day 7

Taipei—Hong Kong

After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to hotel. Rest of the day, enjoy your own leisure in this city of Pearl of East—Hong Kong. (B)
Day 8

Hong Kong

This morning, sightseeing tour of Hong Kong Island with visits to Victoria Peak to see the famous view of Hong Kong. Then visit the Repulse Bay to see the two statues of the Goddesses Tin Hau (Queen of Heaven and Goddess of all seafarers). Continuous to Aberdeen, one gets to see a number of people actually living on boats and several floating restaurants. A trip down to harbor in a sampan is recommended (optional on own cost). Afternoon is free for your own shopping. (B)
Day 9

Hong Kong

Today, take a full day tour to the Lantau Island where is almost twice the size of Hong Kong Island. Through the fast and scenic drive along the expressway and the Tsing Ma Bridge soon takes you to this unspoiled island. Visit the world’s tallest, outdoor, seated bronze Buddha statue at Po Lin Monastery and enjoy a great vegetarian meal. Explore Tai O, a quaint fishing village where the houses are on stills. Tour ends with a spectacular ride aboard the Skyrail cable car offering stunning views going down to Tung Chung. (B,L)
Day 10

Depart Hong Kong

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport and take your homebound flight to home. (B)
