Upon arrival of Mexico City, our guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to check in your hotel.
This morning, go for a Panoramic tour of Reforma Avenue. We take Juárez Avenue to get to the Zocalofor a visit of the Cathedral and the National Palace where we can see some impressive Diego Rivera frescoesillustrating the most important historical events of Mexico. Visit of the ruins and the last remnants of the Aztec empire in an archeological site. Visit the Buenvista Craft Center and Chapultepec urban park surrounded by residential areas such as Lomas de Chapultepec where famous Mexican people live. Afternoon is free time to shop at the Plaza Del Angel in Zone Rosa or relax at leisure. (B)
Today, drive to Cuernavaca from the south of the city taking the modern highway. We arrive to Buganvilias City, also known as "The City of Eternal Spring" for its warm climate, and visit the cathedral built as a mission in 1552. Continue our journey through winding roads to the Sierra Madre Occidental Mountains, surrounded by valleys and forests of pines and we go into the mountains of Guerrero State to reach the picturesque colonial mining town of Taxco, known as the City of Silver. Visit the famous church of Santa Prisca. Spare some time to visit the silver shops walking through its plazas and cobblestone streets, framed by rustic and picturesque redroofed houses that have been subject of inspiration for countless artists. In the evening, return back to Mexico City. (B)
Today is free for you to explore the city or relax at leisure on your own. Shopping at the La Lagunilla Market or La Ciudadela Market is also a very good choice. (B)
After breakfast, free until transfer to the airport for your flight home. (B)
