Our Scandinavia Journey begins with an overnight flight to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark.

Upon arrival, welcome by our English speaking guide and transfer to hotel. Enjoy the lunch at hotel before check-in hotel. In the afternoon, join the Grand boat tour, see the city from the sea. Take a private boat guided tour around the harbor and through the idyllic canals where our guide will tell you about Copenhagen’s beautiful churches, castles, old listed houses, new buildings and all other sights of interest. Enjoy dinner at the hotel. (LD)

Uncover the mysteries behind the fairy tale castles of Copenhagen of North Zealand, a beautiful region just outside the Danish capital. Visit 17th-century Frederiksborg Palace. In the afternoon, explorative walking tour of Denmark’s capital. Listen as your guide shares intimate knowledge of the city and visit City Hall Square, Christiansborg Palace, the Old Stock Exchange before enjoying the brightly colored houses of Nyhavn, a quaint canal side district, then pose for photos beside the Little Mermaid, the fairytale inspired statue that boasts the title of Denmark’s most photographed monument. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in celebrated Tivoli Gardens. (BLD)

Departing Copenhagen, takes you along the Yellow Roads from Demark into Sweden, past idyllic meadows, forests and lakes. In Helsingborg, visit Sofiero Slott, for a taste of the former royal Swedish life. Continue on to lovely Toftaholm, where your lodging is a family-run manor house hotel on the eastern shore of Lake Vidostern. Dinner at hotel. (BLD)

Drive northward today from Toftaholm through southern Sweden and the Lake Vattern area, passing through the city of Linkoping. Stop for lunch at Loftstad Slott, a manor house in Norrkoping once owned by the family of Axel von Fersen. Continue on to Sweden's capital city, Stockholm. After a city orientation tour and check-in at your hotel, enjoy a guided tour of the Swedish Royal Opera House, followed by dinner at the Opera House restaurant. (BLD)

Begin today's discovery of Sweden's capital with sightseeing including a guided visit to Stockholm's iconic City Hall, where the annual Nobel Prize award festivities take place. Continues with a panoramic lakeside drive over bridges that crisscross between Stockholm’s small islands, offering views of Gamla Stan (Old Town), the Royal Palace is the official residence and major royal palace of the Swedish monarch, the Cathedral and Parliament. Next, visit the Vasa Museum, featuring the impressive Vasa, an ornate royal warship that sank in Stockholm's harbor following its launch in 1628 and was raised in 1961. Take the flight to Bergen on Norway’s west coast. After arrival, transfer to hotel. Join the guided walking tour to the city on an orientation tour in historic Bryggen waterfront and take the funicular up to the Mount Floyento watched the sun go down over the Fjords. Enjoy dinner at hotel. (BD)

Full day tour to in Bergen, visit the open-air Old Bergen Museum is a reconstructed small town consisting of around 50 wooden houses dating from the 18th centuries, the Hanseatic Museum Bergen is situated in one of the old trade house and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Fantoft Stave Church. Continue an excursion to Troldhaugen, the beloved composer Edvard Grieg’s former lakeside villa, today a living museum and concert center. Tonight, enjoy the Indian dinner at local restaurant. (BLD)

Depart to Loen by bus and boat. Take the express boat, journey northward along the Norwegian coast, through photo-worthy landscapes that vary from wide-open fjords to green hills, icy glaciers and massive mountain ranges, as you set out from Bergen, ferry across part of the Songefjord from Oppedal to Lavik, and wind your way through the countryside to Loen, from which you'll explore Norway's inspiring fjordlands during a three-night stay at the venerable Hotel Alexandra, operated since 1884 by five generations of the Loen family. Your Scandinavia tour continues with a morning of unforgettable views as you drive to Dalsnibba (weather permitting), the region's highest point reached by road, for delightful views of towering cliffs and waterfalls. Then take a cruise from Geiranger to Hellesylt on Geirangerfjord, one of the longest, deepest, and most scenic fjords in the world. It was recently designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. (BLD)

Travel today to one of Norway’s most inspirational natural wonders – Briksdal Glacier, set between roaring waterfalls and mountain peaks at the end of one of the Nordfjord's three branches. Meltwater from the glacier has created three emerald-green lakes in the valley; a ride on a "Troll Car" past thundering waterfalls and a short hike to the foot of the glacier lead to views of absolutely stunning scenery – it's a Scandinavia tour highlight! Today, take the ferry from Vangsnes to Dragsvik and visit the Borgund Stave Church. Enjoy lunch and join the beer tasting at Ægir beer is world-class, learn about the brewer’s art, and take a sensory journey of discovery into a new world of aromas and flavors. After lunch, embark on a journey from Flåm on the Norwegian Railway System to Myrdal, for the spectacular descent to Flam aboard the Flam Railway. A masterpiece of Norwegian engineering, the Flamsbana is one of the world’s steepest railway lines on normal gauge; you'll descend some 2,600 feet through the mountains, past waterfalls, rivers, ravines and sheer cliffs – it's quite a memorable journey! After that, take the train ride continue on through the stunning Norwegian countryside from Myrdal to the capital city of Oslo. Tonight, have a dinner on the train. (BLD)

You’ll visit Norwegian Folk Museum, large open-air museum with 155 traditional houses from all parts of Norway and a stave church from the year 1200. Visit the Vikingship Museum to learn about Viking history and seeing the old vessels. After lunch, visit Holmenkollen Ski Museum, is the world’s oldest ski museum. After lunch, take in the Vigeland Sculpture Park, with its 212 life-sized granite and bronze sculptures by famed Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland.
